Google Home is a new voice-activated device similar to the Amazon Echo line that uses conversational speech to let users interact with Google services. Users can ask Google Home questions, use it to control music and connected devices or appliances, and get updates about things like flight delays.

Google Home uses the new Google Assistant feature which keeps an ongoing dialogue between users and Google services. The Google Assistant integrates information from across a user's Google account to help in a wide variety of ways from buying tickets to navigating to a venue.

Google Assistant will be integrated into Google Home as well as the new messenger and video calling apps Allo and Duo. Both apps will be available for Android and iOS later this year.
