Tom Scott visited the Eden Project in Cornwall, England to get a whiff of a blooming corpse flower and to explain its unique smell and reproductive strategy. Unlike other species that try to reproduce as often as possible, the corpse flower stores its energy for a single two-day reproductive period every seven to ten years.
