In a site-specific installation for Family Day at the Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, Virginia, artist Noah Scalin used thrift store clothing to create a giant anamorphic portrait of James Conway Farley, a renowned African-American photographer in the 19th century.

"giant anamorphic portrait inside the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for their family day. The image is inspired by a photograph from the collection The Valentine Museum that was taken by the first prominent African-America photographer in America.
