Artist Matthew Grabelsky has created an incredible series of remarkable surreal realistic oil paintings of various types of animals, such as a fox, elephant, cheetah, wolf and panda bear, each possessing human-like bodies and riding the New York City subway in the smiling company of another animal and/or human who is completely oblivious to anything unusual going on.
