Paul Williams Wears Full Planet of the Apes Makeup to Sing for Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show

Paul Williams appeared on the February 9, 1973 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson to sing "Here's That Rainy Day" while wearing his full orangutan makeup from filming Battle for the Planet of the Apes. Williams played the character of Virgil in the film which was released on June 15, 1973.
