Pikazo is an app that recreates any source image in any style using a simulated visual cortex based on a computer neural network. Users select their source image and can choose a style from within the app or use their own image to create a new and unique digital painting.

Pikazo was developed in 2015 using neural style transfer algorithms. It is a collaboration between human, machine, and our concept of art. It is a universal art machine that paints any image in the style of any other, producing sometimes-beautiful, sometimes-disturbing, always-surprising artworks. We encourage you to play with it.

To demonstrate the app's capabilities and give users some inspiration, the creators of Pikazo ran Mona Lisa through the app in more than 100 styles.
