A sweet and shaggy baby muskox calf named Hudson has made himself at home at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington where he gets yummy meals of formula and flowers from his caregivers. Hudson was hand-raised in Alaska after his mother rejected him shortly after he was born.

Hudson, the 3-month-old muskox calf, is the newest resident of Arctic Tundra. He came to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium from the Large Animal Research Station at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he was born. The name Hudson was chosen to honor the legacy of muskoxen in the Hudson Bay area of Canada. Hudson is the first of three new muskoxen who are to make their homes at the zoo this summer and fall.
