Shikoku Electric Restarts Ikata Unit 3 In Japan

Following a three-step approval process, the Shikoku Electric Power Company said Friday that it had restarted Unit 3 at the Ikata nuclear power plant, making it the fifth Japanese reactor to revisit criticality following the industry-wide moratorium that was imposed after the triple meltdown at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear generation station in March 2011.(read more)
