A Mesmerizing Film That Shows Insects Crawling in Real Time Across Flowers Blooming in Timelapse

Japanese video designer Yoshiyuki Katayama has created the gorgeously mesmerizing film "Umwelt", which features timelapses of different flowers in bloom while insects appear to land, crawl across and fly away in real time. The effect is quite soothing, particularly when accompanied by the beautiful soundtrack by Kevin MacLeod.

The artist also shot the film vertically for a different perspective.
