Arrival, Amy Adams Tries Communicating With Aliens to Save Earth in Upcoming Sci-Fi Drama Film
Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for Arrival, an upcoming sci-fi drama film directed by Denis Villeneuve and based on the short story "Story of Your Life" by author Ted Chiang. The trailer features expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) and her team working on making contact and communicating with an alien race, who abruptly arrived on Earth in peculiar spacecrafts, before a worldwide war breaks out. Arrival is scheduled to land in theaters on November 11th, 2016.
When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team - lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) - is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers - and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.
