Ori is a system of robotic furniture that can easily restructure itself to maximize the use of small spaces. The Ori system includes storage, seating, a desk, and a bed, all of which can be adjusted or stowed away as needed. Ori was developed at the MIT Media Lab CityHome with the stated goal of, "developing scalable strategy for creating hyper-efficient, technology-enabled spaces that can help make living more affordable, productive, enjoyable, and creative for urban dwellers."
