Frank Chu is known around San Francisco and elsewhere for his famous "12 Galaxies" sign, which Laughing Squid once sponsored. Most recently, Acme Labs, the "purveyors of fine freeware since 1972", have created the ChuMaker, hilarious interactive site that allows users to enter seven lines of text that will generate and insert a "12 Galaxies"-style sign into an existing photo of Chu. Once the process is complete, it is added to a gallery of custom signs that can be easily downloaded.
