Walabot DIY, A Tool That Lets Users Digitally See Through Walls to Find Studs, Pipes, Wires, and More
by Glen Tickle from Laughing Squid on (#1RDX1)
The Walabot DIY is a tool that pairs with an Android device to let users digitally see through walls to find studs, pipes, wires, and more. The device uses sensors that work through up to four inches of concrete and that can be adjusted for better accuracy through specific materials.
The company is also offering development versions of the device for makers and engineers who are interested in tweaking the technology.
