Interior minister calls for more proactive approach to cracking down on racist and violent posts from users
Facebook should be more proactive in removing racist and violent content from its sites, the German interior minister said on Monday after a visit to the company's offices in Berlin.
"Facebook has an immensely important economic position and just like every other large enterprise it has a immensely important social responsibility," Thomas de Maiziere said.
