Formerly Abused Dog Snuggles in Closely With Her Favorite Little Human in Amazing Photo Series

Photographer Elizabeth Spence has captured absolutely amazing photos of her infant son Archie being snuggled by her 8-year old rescue dog Nora. Aside from being beautifully shot, what makes these photos so special is the incredible bond that's visible between baby and dog. Nora had a very difficult life at a puppy mill, leaving her skittish and mistrustful of most humans, but is completely comfortable and relaxed in the presence of Archie. Nora is also comfortable wit Spence's husband and two other children, three rescue cats and two other rescue dogs, but Archie has her heart. Spence told the Dodo that the two are completely inseparable.
Archie is an extremely laid-back, happy, good-natured baby and all the animals seem to really respond to that, particularly Nora. "She came from an abusive background and is afraid of almost everything. Not Archie, though. She absolutely adores him! If Archie is having a bath, Nora is lying on the bath mat waiting for him to get out. "If I'm nursing him she wants up on my lap, too. If he's going through my cupboards throwing all the dishes on the floor, she'll be there cheering him on.
