Razer buys audio certification company THX

Most of us know THX for that tone that plays before some movies-that deep, body-shaking sound that tells you a theater has THX-certified audio. The frequency with which we see that logo has tapered off in the last few years, but the company is still around and it's now a part of gaming peripheral manufacturer Razer. THX was founded by Star Wars director George Lucas in 1983 and the iconic THX Deep Note first appeared before Return of the Jedi.
