Senators' Hammond injured in loss to Flames

The Ottawa Senators' goaltending took another hit Friday.
Andrew Hammond was forced from a 5-2 loss to the Calgary Flames with what Senators head coach Guy Boucher is calling a lower-body injury.
Boucher noted Hammond will be re-evaluated Saturday, but with the team in action against the Edmonton Oilers, something - such as recalling goaltender Matt O'Connor from the AHL - will have to be done.
Calling on O'Connor is a necessary evil for the Senators, who announced Thursday that starting netminder Craig Anderson will miss time for personal reasons.
Hammond has allowed six goals on 29 shots in two appearances this season.
