Gothamist Confronts Manspreaders on the New York City Subway

Gothamist hit the New York City subway and confronted manspreaders about the behavior of taking up too much space in their seat.

We hit up some subway cars to speak with manspreaders about their manspreading, an epidemic that even the MTA has had to address in an etiquette campaign. Many manspreaders were promptly contrite; others explained that they were happy to rein it in if anyone wanted to sit down. No one screamed or kicked or spread wider in defiance.
