For the first post-election Saturday Night Live cold open, cast member Kate McKinnon reprised her role as Hillary Clinton and performed an absolutely gorgeous version of "Hallelujah" in memory of the late great Leonard Cohen, who passed away on November 10, 2016. At the conclusion of the song, McKinnon (as Clinton) hopefully declared "I'm not giving up and neither should you"
