Gaudreau to have surgery on fractured finger

The Calgary Flames received more bad news Wednesday, as the team announced that forward Johnny Gaudreau has suffered a fractured finger that will require surgery.
Gaudreau suffered the injury Tuesday versus the Minnesota Wild. He will undergo surgery on Wednesday. The team will provide a timeline on his recovery in the coming days, while Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman believes Gaudreau will be sidelined for four-to-six weeks.
Gaudreau has appeared in all 17 games and is the team's leading scorer with 11 points.
The Flames sit fifth place in the Pacific Division with a 6-10-1 record and have won just two of seven games in November.
