A Young Blind Man Explains How LEGO Helps Him See the World
by Glen Tickle from Laughing Squid on (#24CJR)
In an episode of BrainCraft, Vanessa Hill interviewed Matthew Shifrin, a young man who has been blind since birth who uses LEGO to help him see the world. Shifrin uses a modified system of instructions that describe the steps in text rather than images to build his elaborate LEGO collection, and runs the site LEGO for the Blind where he shares the instructions with others.
