A Backwards Recording of ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ Played In Reverse
by Lori Dorn from Laughing Squid on (#259NY)
In the spirit of the holiday season, musician Rob Scallon, who has a fondness for backwards songs, recorded the classic carol "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" in reverse and then reversed it again so it played (somewhat) like an ordinary song. And yes, he knows that the video is from three years ago.
Okay, I can just hear some of you saying, 'Rob this video came out three years ago' and yeah but that's because I'm making a point. Because it's the holiday season. This isn't the time for us to work - its to spend with our friends and family. It's not because I'm lazy or that I couldn't finish the video this week.
The original forward performance of the carol.
