Hacker Tim Gremalm replaced the irritating buzzer in his microwave with the Windows XP startup sound. Gremalm calls his creation the Mute, and he posted details and instructions for his build on his website.

I'm tired of the buzzer in the microwave oven that is beeping constant up to a minute.
