Michal Neuvirth is on the mend.

The Philadelphia Flyers goaltender was released from hospital after collapsing and being stretchered off during Saturday's game, the club announced Sunday.

All diagnostic testing came back normal, and Neuvirth is now resting at home after being taken to Pennsylvania Hospital. The netminder will be re-evaluated Monday.

Flyers general manager Ron Hextall told reporters Saturday night that Neuvirth was taken to hospital as a precaution and that the outlook was encouraging, according to NHL.com's Tom Gulitti.

"Everything so far has been good," Hextall said. "Things are positive."

The 29-year-old goalie collapsed untouched early in the game, but he was conscious, was seen moving his legs, and had his eyes open as he was stretchered off.

Hextall said Saturday that Neuvirth has been dealing with a "little bit of a chest cold," but declined to speculate about whether that played a role in the incident.
