E8 Storage has selected NVMe solid-state drives from HGST as the next-generation storage vendor pushes the boundaries of performance for the enterprise and software-defined cloud. According to Western Digital, Embedding HGST Ultrastar SN200 family PCIe SSDs into E8 Storage's NVMe enclosure can deliver a 10x increase in performance, 50% lower total cost of ownership, and up to 153 terabytes in 2U.
