The Arizona Coyotes and their fans honored an inspirational man prior to Saturday's game against Minnesota.

Wearing his old Coyotes number, and met with a massive ovation, Craig Cunningham dropped the puck at the skates of former teammates Martin Hanzal - now with the Wild - and Shane Doan in an emotional pregame ceremony.

Cunningham suffered an acute cardiac arrest and ventricular fibrillation on the ice while serving as captain of the AHL's Tuscon Roadrunners, and this honor caps a remarkable recovery, while giving fans an opportunity to express their love and admiration.
