Congrats to the Leafs who now have a two-time Cup winner on their payroll.

Sidney Crosby was named playoff MVP in back-to-back years, and will soon begin construction on a larger trophy case.

Sidney Crosby awards haul dating back to last June: 2 Stanley Cup rings, 2 Conn Smythes, 1 Rocket Richard, World Cup Gold & a World Cup MVP

Others were quick to give credit where it was due.

Gotta give the Conn Smythe to Kevin Pollock

- Dumb Bozo (@davelozo) June 12, 2017

Pollock was the referee who blew off Predators forward Colton Sissons' goal in the second period.

The Penguins moved into the NHL's most elite group of franchises.

Penguins join MTL, TOR, CHI, DET, BOS and EDM as only teams with 5 or more Stanley Cups.

Pittsburgh Penguins: first back to back Stanley Cup champs in the salary cap era. Unreal accomplishment in the parity filled NHL of today.

Playoff wins in salary cap era:
1. Pittsburgh 91
2. Chicago 76
3. Anaheim 70
4. Detroit 68
5. San Jose 64

Not that close.

The accomplishment was celebrated accordingly.

But once again, head coach Mike Sullivan didn't receive any well-deserved credit.
