Cycle week challenge: strike up a conversation with a fellow cyclist
by Guardian Staff from Environment | The Guardian on (#2SNC5)
We dare you to strike up a conversation with a fellow cyclist this week, and tell us the highlights here or on social media using #cycleconvo
- Join us for Guardian Cities cycle week as we explore the good and bad of urban cycling around the world
Most people who cycle in cities will know how divisive it can be. You get shouted at by drivers on the street, berated by them online, or looked down on by other cyclists for being in the wrong cycling "tribe".
But most will also know that cycling can bring people together - and we don't just mean naked bike rides. After years of dominance by cars, people of all walks of life are taking back their cities.
