Dat Tether (Score: 0) by Anonymous Coward on 2014-10-01 21:20 (#2T1S) Having played with big helium filled balloons tethered to a ground station, I'm curious what their tethering solution looks like. We didn't need power running up/down the tether, so we got away with just using a kevlar parachute cord, but even the weight of 500 feet of relatively lightweight kevlar parachute cord caused some significant issues. Maybe you just get a bigger balloon?
