Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham could avoid jail time after accepting a deferred prosecution deal, stemming from a July 2016 incident where he was charged with aggravated assault - a second-degree felony - ESPN's Tim McManus reports.
Bradham was involved in an incident where he allegedly broke a hotel employee's nose at the Hilton Bentley Hotel in Miami on July 25, 2016.
The Eagles' linebacker is facing a July 24 hearing for a separate misdemeanor gun charge, after bringing a loaded weapon through the security checkpoint at the Miami airport last October.
