Report: NFL closes Elliott investigation regarding nightclub brawl
The NFL closed its investigation into a nightclub incident in which Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott allegedly punched a DJ in the face, a source told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.
The victim suffered a broken nose during the altercation. Elliott wasn't arrested or charged.
NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy told Florio the league would review any new evidence.
Elliott received a six-game suspension Friday for a separate violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy. Some believed the league would suspend him in connection with the nightclub incident, adding to his six-game sanction.
It's been an incident-filled offseason for Elliott, who exposed a woman's breast in public during a St. Patrick's Day parade.
