- Booming Seattle is adding cars just as fast as people | The Seattle Times - Sort of. The percentage growth is the same, but it's not one-to-one. Perhaps this is also a factor of the city's increasing wealth gap. People with more money are more likely to own cars. People with less money are more likely to get priced out of town (or at least out of the city limits).
