Tested Creates a Large Laser-Cut Dymaxion Globe
by Justin Page from Laughing Squid on (#30VAW)
Tested editor Norman Chan and fabrication specialist Sean Charlesworth worked together to make a large laser-cut dymaxion globe. They followed an amazing Make: tutorial, complete with project files, created by robotics engineer Gavin Smith.
After making our own small scale 20-sided globe, we tweak the files to scale up the build on our Universal Laser Systems laser cutter and test using transfer paper to protect our wood sheets from scorching.
