Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones donated $1 million to the Salvation Army Wednesday during a telethon hosted by his franchise.

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant accepted the call where Jones offered his pledge.

"Dez, every time I talk to you on the phone it costs me money," Jones told Bryant.

The Cowboys are among several teams that have helped assist Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, as the storm has devastated several areas in Texas.

Dallas was scheduled to play Houston in its final preseason game but the game was cancelled by the league.
