At his worst, A.J. Green is a nightmare for opposing cornerbacks. At his best, he's close to unstoppable.

Nevertheless, the Cincinnati Bengals' star receiver has occasionally been blanketed by some of the game's top corners - and Thursday he detailed the five toughest ones he's ever faced for The Players' Tribune.

Here's Green's top five, seemingly in no particular order:

Aside from Haden - who was a Pro Bowler in 2013 and 2014 and resides in Green's division - the pass-catcher's picks are unlikely to shock - Peterson, Jenkins, Harris, and Sherman are frequently mentioned among the best at their position.

Green gushed over Peterson's rare athletic ability, writing "If you run a Go, he has the ability to stay with you stride for stride on your inside shoulder the whole time."

Green called Jenkins' instincts "the best in the NFL," and lauded Harris for his ability to diagnose and react to plays almost instantly.

The wideout described playing against Sherman as "like going against a mirror of myself," and noted that the star Seattle Seahawks cornerback has no glaring weakness in his game.
