Beckham inactive vs. Cowboys with ankle injury

The New York Giants will try and win their first game of the season without their best player.
Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is inactive for Sunday night's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, the team announced. Beckham was nursing an ankle injury he suffered during the preseason and was listed as a game-time decision.
His absence shifts the advantage to the Cowboys even further, especially after it was recently ruled that running back Ezekiel Elliott could suit up for Dallas.
Beckham was a key contributor in New York's two victories over the Cowboys last season, totaling eight catches for 167 yards and a touchdown.
