Trailing 24-7 at halftime, the Green Bay Packers needed to put up some quick points to start the third quarter against the Atlanta Falcons.

While they certainly achieved that goal, it was points for the wrong team, and saw them face an even bigger deficit.

On the second play of the quarter, Aaron Rodgers dropped back and was absolutely rocked by Vic Beasley, attempting to throw it away in the process. The play was ruled a lateral and a fumble on the field, with Desmond Trufant picking it up and returning it for a touchdown.

Upon further review the ruling was confirmed and gave the Falcons a 31-7 lead, even though video appeared to show the ball being thrown forward, not sideways.
