The Minnesota Vikings believe quarterback Sam Bradford is dealing with a bone bruise, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Bradford will receive an injection in his knee and the team will assess how it responds before determining a timeline for his return to play.

Head coach Mike Zimmer said Bradford is feeling better than during pregame warmups Sunday and is considered day to day for now.

Should backup Case Keenum need to continue starting in place of Bradford, Zimmer said he "feel(s) good about him," according to Pelissero.

Keenum completed 20-of-37 passes for 167 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in a Week 2 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
