Rams expect to have Watkins, Austin for Cowboys clash
The Los Angeles Rams look to be fully loaded at receiver for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, as both Sammy Watkins and Tavon Austin are expected to play.
Head coach Sean McVay broke the news to ESPN's Alden Gonzalez on Thursday, adding their return is "a big boost for us."
Both players were in concussion protocol earlier in the week after the Rams' dramatic Thursday night win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Watkins' availability is huge for the Rams' offense, as the former Buffalo Bills wideout was a beast in last week's win. Prior to leaving with the injury, the fourth-year pro caught six balls for 106 yards and two scores. He leads the Rams in receiving this season with 13 catches for 194 yards.
