Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was seen jawing with members of the Chicago Bears moments after Packers receiver Davante Adams took a violent helmet-to-helmet hit in Thursday night's game.

Adams was initially corralled by a group of Bears defenders after a short reception, before linebacker Danny Trevathan torpedoed headfirst into the receiver. Adams had to be attended to by medical staff and was then stretchered off the field.

Rodgers said after the game he didn't like seeing Trevathan "celebrating when a guy gets carted off," according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Trevathan could be seen pleading his case to Rodgers, and later said he didn't intend to strike Adams in the face mask.

Rodgers told the media that he "trusts Danny" didn't mean to injure his wideout.
