Look: NFL players, teams continue with scaled-back anthem protests

Select NFL teams and groups of players continued their peaceful protests surrounding the national anthem ahead of Sunday's early slate of games.

Most players stood for the anthem itself, and either demonstrated before "The Star-Spangled Banner" or participated in a show of team unity during it.

Things got started early Sunday morning with the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins in London, England.

Saints at Dolphins

Just three players - Julius Thomas, Kenny Stills, and Michael Thomas - remained kneeling for the anthem.

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant said earlier this week his team would stand for the playing of the anthem. The Rams followed suit on the opposite sideline.

Browns

The Cleveland Browns were one of a few teams that had a large group of players raise one fist in solidarity during the anthem.

Bills

The Buffalo Bills led the way with six players taking a knee. Running back LeSean McCoy, who stretched throughout last week's anthem, stood this week.

Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who stood in unity with owner Shad Khan in London last week, again expressed themselves as a full team.
