Cincinnati Bengals corner Adam Jones got a first-hand look at the rebuilding Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and he's concerned for their head coach.

Hue Jackson, the Bengals' former offensive coordinator, was hired to oversee the Browns last year, and he's since compiled a record of 1-19. The latest loss was a 31-7 defeat at the hands at the also previously winless Bengals.

And for a game between a pair of 0-3 teams, it was rather uncompetitive.

"I know you say (the Browns are) getting a lot of talent, but I don't know," Jones said after the game, according to Dan Labbe of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

"From watching today and watching film, I probably shouldn't say this, but it's going to be hard to win with that group."

Jones then defended Jackson, who coached the Bengals' secondary in 2012.

"He's one of the guys that you would ... if we had to go to Iraq right now and he had to pick friends to go, I would (go with him) because I know what type of leader and person he is," Jones said.

"I'm just saying all-around football, I don't know if Hue has enough to win."

Jackson responded to Jones' comments on Monday, stating that he respects his former player but "can't get caught up in that," according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
