J.J. Watt can't hide his disappointment after suffering a major injury Sunday night.
The star defensive end and three-time Defensive Player of the Year sustained a tibial plateau fracture in his left leg and was officially declared out for the rest of the season Monday afternoon.
Early Monday morning, the Houston Texans defender relayed a short message to his fans via Twitter.
I can't sugarcoat it, I am devastated.

All I want to do is be out there on that field for my teammates and this city.
I'm sorry.
This will be the second consecutive season cut short for Watt. He missed all but three games last season due to a back injury.
