Following Thursday's news of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upholding the six-game suspension handed to Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, the NFLPA is striking quickly with hopes of another appeal.

The NFL Player's Association will be filing a petition for rehearing with the Fifth Circuit Court, according to Gaming & Sports Attorney Daniel Wallach.

Elliott's legal team will seek an en banc (full court) review by the Fifth Circuit, according to Wallach.

The full-court review would be an expansion of the three-judge panel that decided 2-1 in favor of upholding the suspension.
