Broncos' Joseph: Emmanuel Sanders out for Week 7 vs. Chargers

Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was diagnosed with a sprained right ankle and head coach Vance Joseph says he'll miss the Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Sanders suffered the injury in Sunday night's loss to the New York Giants.

He has 25 receptions on 41 targets for 266 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

He'll be considered week-to-week following Week 7, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Sanders was hurt on a hit from Giants safety Landon Collins.

Collins issued an apology to Sanders following the game.

Collins was diving for a loose ball on a play that resulted in him tripping up Sanders. He was not penalized.
