Confessions of a Plus-Size Fashionista

I was in middle school when I fell in love with a pair of light-wash, glitter-coated jeans. They were so cool! I had to have them. I told my mom that they fit and she, happy to have found a piece of clothing for her hard-to-fit daughter, bought them for me. But she didn't know, and I didn't tell anyone, that my gorgeous, shiny new denim was a solid two sizes too small.
