Anquan Boldin may be giving it one more go in the NFL, but it doesn't appear it will be with the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills have granted the retired receiver permission to seek a trade after signing Boldin to a one-year deal over the summer.

Buffalo will have the final say as to what team Boldin can be traded to.

Boldin retired in order to devote his time to social activism, a passion he wrote about for TIME Magazine in a piece published Thursday. Upon his August retirement, Boldin said "my life's purpose is bigger than football," though it appears he's had second thoughts.

The 14-year veteran caught 67 passes for 584 yards and eight touchdowns last season with the Detroit Lions.
