Panthers trade Kelvin Benjamin to Bills for picks
by Mitch Sanderson from on (#36MR8)
The Carolina Panthers traded wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin to the Buffalo Bills for 2018 third- and seventh-round picks, the Bills announced ahead of Tuesday's deadline.
Benjamin rejoins former Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, who's in his first year as Bills head coach, and general manager Brandon Beane, who previously worked in Carolina's front office.
The fourth-year receiver has caught 32 passes for 475 yards and two touchdowns this season and will presumably start in Buffalo once he's up to speed with the playbook.
The Bills currently have the 29th-ranked passing offense in the league.
