Any Dallas Cowboys fans hoping to see DeMarco Murray return to the franchise may be sorely disappointed.

Some felt the Cowboys may try to acquire the Tennessee Titans running back before the trade deadline due to Ezekiel Elliott's suspension, but Murray says a reunion isn't in the cards.

"That was all speculation by social media fans and obviously, people talking about the whole Dallas deal," Murray said, according to Cameron Wolfe of ESPN. "I'm happy here. They're happy to have me here. I've been fortunate to be a part of the Titans organizations for the last two years and I see myself retiring here and being an asset here moving forward."

Murray enjoyed tremendous success with the Cowboys, including rushing for more than 1,800 yards in 2014. The 29-year-old has been splitting carries with Derrick Henry this season, but doesn't appear to want out.

"That's been circulating every year since I left there," Murray said. "The chances of me going back there is probably closer to Roger Staubach coming back and playing for them."
