Seahawks' Thomas ruled out vs. Redskins with hamstring injury
Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas won't play against the Washington Redskins due to a hamstring injury, the team announced on its injury report.
Thomas suffered the injury during last week's win over the Houston Texans while attempting to chase down DeAndre Hopkins. There was some hope Friday that Thomas would be able to suit up, as head coach Pete Carroll said his safety would be a game-time decision, but things clearly changed.
It now remains to be seen how long he will be sidelined.
The #Seahawks ruled S Earl Thomas (hamstring) out for Sunday's game, as expected. Could be more than this week.

Thomas has 38 tackles and two interceptions this year after making his return from a broken tibia suffered in 2016.
